Best Neighborhoods to Stay Near Glacier National Park 

While there are several places to stay near Glacier National Park, consider a neighborhood that offers excellent accommodation and a convenient location. 

Whitefish is the ideal base for your Glacier Park excursions, and most visitors agree. This picturesque resort town is tucked in the Rocky Mountains of northwest Montana. 

Whitefish sits 25 miles from West Glacier (the park’s western entrance). So it takes roughly 30 minutes to get there via the US-2 E road.
